Biosphere
A downloadable game for Windows
Biosphere is a tiny ecosystem simulator. Just choose how creatures and resources will be arranged, and watch it all unfold.
This project comes from a discarded idea for the Global Game Jam 2025, for which we ended up creating Personal Bubble. However I still liked this other concept, so I decided to develop it on my own regardless.
Controls:
Esc: Pause and open the settings menu
Left click: Pretty much everything else
How does the simulation work:
Every creature has a hidden energy value.
They loose energy when they move and gain energy when they eat.
If a creature's energy exceeds a certain ammount they consume a bunch of it to reproduce.

Install instructions
Extract both files from the .zip and run Biosphere.exe.
If you see something like this, just click on "More info" and then "Run anyway". It just means I didn't pay hundreds of dollars to microsoft to prevent it from showing.
If you are using Brave as a browser Windows Defender may be preventing de download incorrectly labeling the file as a virus. In that case try a different browser or disable Windows Defender and re-enable it after downloading.
